Service Description

A 6-week therapeutic intermediate dance series to explore deeper the heart-mind-body relationship through breath, journaling, and movement. This series is for anyone who has already gone through our Gentle Movement Workshop 101 but wants to dive deeper. In this series, we will breathe, move, and learn how to normalize movement as our way to accept, express, and release our daily stressors and emotions. Through six-90-minute sessions, we will provide somatic (body-based) experiences and dance practices rooted in guided free movement to help you arrive home in your body and tap into its innate pathways for healing. This series has a special focus on exploring the emotions living in our bodies to ease stress, reduce anxiety and bridge the gap between our mind, our body, and our emotions in an embodied way. *Students eligible for this class must have taken Gentle Movement Workshop 101.*
