Service Description

A 6-week series that has a special focus on exploring the emotions living in the bodies to ease stress, reduce anxiety, and bridge the gap between our mind, our body, and our emotions in an embodied way. Through six-90-minute sessions, we will guide you through learning how to accept the emotions and sensations living in the body, how to express these emotions through movement, to release these emotions from the self or accept them as part of the self. We guide you through movement techniques that you can use to move away from “stressing about things” and instead practice movements that help relieve stress and encourage your well-being. Through creating a safe space for collective care, we will provide a pathway to express emotions, experiences, and responses so that they are not stifled or truncated but are able to freely flow. This workshop helps you stay connected to what is true in your mind and heart. Allowing you to fully feel. During our workshop, no technique is taught as we invite our participants to move in ways that feel good and safe to their bodies. We slow down, breathe, feel our skin, and move in ways that are authentic and true to ourselves. Through breath, movement, journaling, and conversation you learn how to listen, engage, and care for the body. From these classes, people report that they feel deeply connected to themselves, that their stress levels decrease, and that they feel more capable of expressing the various emotions that they feel. Participants find hope, healing, and restoration from moving and engaging with their bodies. This series is offered in partnership with Radical Healing Therapy and The Movement Studio.
